Project Brief
An old, rundown outdoor area and pool that was in desperate need of a makeover, home owners wanted to bring the space back to life. The brief was to create a solid functional outdoor entertaining area with a large lap pool, large deck, separate table tennis area and balcony which all maximised the great views. They also wanted to increase the space in the dining area and have an enclosed private courtyard area outside the main bedroom.

“The pool with the disappearing edge and views over the trees is the standout feature. However, the deck and balcony are also great features in themselves.
It has transformed our lifestyle. We have 4 teenagers who are able to find space in the indoor/outdoor areas of the house for themselves and their friends without imposing on the traditional family areas. There is plenty of room to entertain a variety of ages without feeling overcrowded. The large deck is perfect for eating outdoors – all meals in summer and lunch in winter.”
